Aged 35 years on average, the vines benefit from soils made up of Gravel Garonnaises gunziennes. The wine is aged in barrels (30% of which in new barrels) for 12 months. The 2016 vintage blend is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The mild and dry winter gives way to a cool spring with a high rainfall, causing a delay in the
